Although YouTube will be forced to give up viewership records to Viacom and other corporations, YouTube promises that user ID's and internet addresses will be masked. The news comes after a district court judge ordered YouTube, Google's video sharing website, to give up the names and logs to the entire YouTube site. This course of action is a part of an investigation related to a one billion dollar lawsuit filed by the Viacom Corporation.
